Objective: Collaborate on Stage 2 (Concept Design) and Stage 5 (Completion) of the lighting design for the Tropical Modernism exhibition, with a focus on creating a lighting scheme that complements the exhibition’s theme, highlights key objects, and enhances the immersive visitor experience.
Scope:
. Lighting Design Collaboration (Stages 2 and 5): Contributed to the development of the lighting design concept and to the on-site commissioning, ensuring the final design aligned with the exhibition's aesthetic and thematic focus on modernist architecture and design in tropical climates.
. Exhibit Highlighting: Worked on creating lighting solutions to highlight key objects, architectural elements, and design details, while maintaining appropriate lighting levels for both aesthetic and conservation needs.
. Atmosphere and Visitor Engagement: Focused on developing lighting that enhances the exhibition's ambiance, drawing attention to the materials, textures, and cultural context of the showcased works, creating a cohesive narrative through lighting.
. Technical Execution: Collaborated with the technical team to fine-tune lighting placement and adjust intensities, ensuring optimal visual impact and the preservation of exhibit pieces.
Outcome:
