Lighting Design Collaboration for Photography Now exhibition

The artists presented include Anton Kusters, Edmund Clark, Jo Ractliffe, Lebohang Kganye, Liliana Farber, Mohamed Bourouissa, Poulomi Basu, Roger Palmer and Sam Contis.
Objective: Support the completion of the lighting design during Stage 5 (Completion) for Photography Now!, a contemporary photography exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum. The focus was on delivering a final lighting scheme that accurately presents diverse photographic works while maintaining curatorial intent and conservation standards.
Scope:
. Final Delivery and Coordination (Stage 5): Assisted in on-site adjustments, fine-tuning fixture positions and intensity, to ensure each photographic work was displayed with clarity, balance, and within conservation standards.
. Technical Refinement: Collaborated with the technical team during installation to secure consistent illumination across the gallery and resolve final practical challenges.
Outcome:
A carefully calibrated lighting scheme that enhances the visual impact of contemporary photographic works, ensuring a cohesive, high-quality visitor experience.
