DIALux model as part of the Lighting Concept for Lowther Castle
Location: Lowther Castle, Lake District
Lead Lighting Designer: Lucy Record (Record Lighting)​​​​​​​
Objective: Stage 2 (Concept Design) of the lighting design for a refurbished room within Lowther Castle. The design sought to integrate seamlessly with the existing lighting and architectural setup and navigate the spatial constraints, while enhancing the historical character of the room. 
Scope:
. Lighting Design Collaboration (Stage 2): Contributed to the concept stage of the lighting scheme, ensuring that the lighting approach respects the historic context of the castle while supporting the evolving functionality of the space. ​​​​​​​
Outcome: 
A thoughtful concept lighting design that respects the historic fabric of Lowther Castle while providing flexible illumination for a variety of purposes, from task lighting to artwork display.
