Objective: Collaborate on the lighting design from Stage 2 (Concept Design) to Stage 5 (Completion) for the Adobe Creative Residencies gallery, a newly refurbished, permanent exhibition space. The lighting design aims to support versatile object display while highlighting architectural features, creating an adaptable environment for future exhibitions.
Scope:
. Lighting Design Collaboration (Stages 2 and 5): Contributed to the concept and completion stages of the lighting design, ensuring that the final scheme aligns with the gallery’s purpose as a flexible exhibition space that accommodates a variety of displays and installations.
. Object Display and Focused Illumination: Designed lighting solutions that enhance object visibility, offering adaptable settings for diverse types of exhibits, while achieving optimal colour rendering and display clarity.
. Architectural Enhancement: Incorporated lighting techniques that highlight the architectural elements of the refurbished space, drawing attention to structural details and enhancing the gallery’s aesthetic appeal, creating a harmonious environment for both architecture and exhibit pieces.
. Technical Execution: Worked closely with the technical team to refine fixture placement and adjust lighting intensity, ensuring consistent performance, adaptability, and energy efficiency.

A versatile and effective lighting design that supports the Adobe Creative Residencies gallery as a multifunctional exhibition space, balancing object-focused illumination with architectural enhancement to offer an engaging and flexible visitor experience.
